X-Ray by GabrielComment: Very good entry. This makes me think of an engineering or science magazine. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I like it very much. This has qualities that make it look less like a photo and more like something that was rendered. Interesting to look at, and I really enjoy the contrast between the organic black membrane (reminiscent of a bat's wing perhaps) and the various gridlines. Well done. |

Adam Zillaby Art RoflmaoComment: "With a resounding sweep of the reptillian viewing demographic, Adam had a vicious following throughout the season. His dreamy eyes didn't hurt things, either." |

The Gnarled Sentinelby DrAchooComment: That's always my problem when I try to take photos of the areas I go backpacking through- everything looks mundane because you can't gather how immense it all is. Having the stream here helps a bit, though. |

Pinwheelby digifotojoComment: I really like the transition of color in this. Very subtle progression completely across the spectrum from orange to blue. Quite pleasing. |

Melbourne at speedby millsaComment: Deciding to go with the zoom blur was a great choice. The waterfront reflection works perfectly as a mirror. Very neat. |

dark irisby tnunComment: When I saw the thumbnail for this I could've sworn it was a negative photo. I agree somewhat with tpbremer's remarks about things being somewhat washed out. The dark is very dark but rather uniformly so, and the background is pretty uniformly grey as well. I did a really quick and overkill edit that brings out some of the texture on the petals. Like I said, rather overkill but I was hurried.

LaBelle at Nightby MelonMusketeerComment: The alternation between light and dark in the trees adds a lot of drama to this scene. It is definitely reminiscent of a crime drama or something of the sort, what with all the shadows for things to lurk. |

front-yard.jpgby tpbremerComment: The light does indeed have a nice warmth to it here, bringing out the yellow well. |

Girls by ZigomarComment: Excellent use of the lensbaby. I'm not a big fan of the lensbaby, but this is a perfect use for it. I also like how the colors have somewhat of a Holga quality to them. Great shot. |
