Fall Foliage at the Fallsby adriano74Comment: A wider context might have helped the association to the prompt. There are some sharpness issues in the foliage- I wonder if you didn't have some breeze to deal with?
ETA: Not a fan of your border choice. Something much more subdued would've worked here. Message edited by author 2013-11-21 01:42:44. |

Joy of fallby BJokerudComment: A wonderfully done dog shot. The fog adds a great atmosphere to this and you did well enough carrying through the details in the shadows of the subject. |

Red and Greenby AnnComment: I have a soft spot for the incredibly verdant growth of the Seattle area. Very nice. |

Reach for the Skyby Dr.ConfuserComment: Love the texture of the trunks. I'd like to have seen a bit more DoF and perhaps the aspens more at their hight in color, but this is nitpicking. I quite like this. |

Entwinedby wildirisComment: This is magnificent. I'm sad to say it didn't place higher. It reminds me of a Japanese cherry blossom painting. Utterly delightful. |

The Leaf Eater by vawendyComment: Being that these are a plague (literally, they carry the plague out here) upon the land, I'm amazed to see one get top honors here. Not going to lie- something I'd never thought I'd see.
Well shot.
And as to their foliage eating- they do this with pretty much everything, picking up all manner of things and chomping upon it. The ones in more urban areas are EXTREMELY tame, to the extent that you could get close enough to achieve your FoV with a 50mm, but in the boonies, you'd need at least a 500mm lens. Strange little creatures.
Did they do all the same noises at the zoo? I can't imagine you got to hear all of them, as the tame ones are much less interesting in that regard. |

crestby FourPointXComment: A total abstract?! No way!
This is interesting. It feels a bit cool so far as color goes. I'd like things to either be MORE abstract or LESS so. Point us at something to consider, or devolve it all even more. This is in the middle awkward ground here, for me, so far as abstract goes. |
