Fishing in Ionion Seaby ikopanasComment: I really like how the sea and the sky merge in a manner that makes it nearly impossible to separate the two. Some small bits of the boat are overexposed, but this is a minor issue. Good choice with the BW. |

Amazing graceby TammsterComment: Hm, a second egret shot. Nice job keeping everything properly exposed. Your details are pretty sharp throughout. Good choice for the pose. Some of the sticks in the background distract a little, but getting a perfect background for a flying bird shot is a crapshoot. |

Jade tree frogby zaroziniaComment: I'm not a big fan of your vignette, as it makes it seem as though the frog and bamboo frond are floating in space. The detail and colors on your frog are great; however the pose is a bit cliche. Kudos for including a frog I hadn't seen on DPC yet, though. |

Peace Descendingby pixelpigComment: It's interesting how the lower flower appears to be a reflection due to its shaded hue, but, upon closer inspection, is in fact a separate flower below the top one. Interesting flowers and a non-distracting background make for a nice photo, but I am not altogether a fan of the border. It's tone is too similar to that of the flowers. |

Anna Katrinby BrinComment: Lol. The stare from this wee one is great, and I enjoy the vignette. I'm not usually a fan of young child portraits, but I enjoy the expression here. |

Forgotten Treeby ConradyComment: The texture of the stump is interesting. I like how I can see the specific marks from the chainsaw, and the burned top. Having said that, I'm not too clear on why you cut the stump up as you did. I would prefer otherwise, myself. The black on the foreground is more rich, but I don't think that's a reason to cut off the less rich black in the background. |

Black Pearlby NeilComment: Neat pool you've captured here. Your choice of shutter length is great, capturing the flowing nature of the water but not over-exposing things. I'd like the "pearl" to not be cut off on the left, and in the top left, I wish that there wasn't that bit of sky showing through the trees. I still really like the BW conversion on this though. Great capture. |

Ancestral Awakeningby BlackboxComment: The rock formation in your shot would benefit from a more close-up treatment I think. It would magnify the size as well as all the crenulations and variety of hue. |

After the Rainby dtallaksonComment: Good detail in the center, but either a more concerted effort to isolate the center from the rest of the photo as a focal point or a deeper DoF would have benefited things. Nice job capturing the drops, and the refracted image in the raindrop has some very cool color variation. |

Big Girl Nowby gsalComment: Nice portrait. BW conversion is excellent, and I like the candid nature of the shot. |
