"One bite, and all of your dreams will come true..."by stupidcatComment: This is a very good photograph! What keeps it from being *great*, for me, is the clutter/color saturation. There is just too much red in the photo to allow the apple (and arm) to stand out enough to really focus the viewer, in my opinion. I would try a little desaturation of the forest floor and leaves, to help your subject stand out. |

Merlin Livesby duncesComment: I really like the fall of light you've got here. This truly does invoke a feeling of a ressurected wizard of old. |

Wood Elf by kosmikkreeperComment: Gorgeous! The soft focus *really* works with this picture. One could almost believe you actually ran into this woodland creature. Great job. |

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall....by SammieComment: This is a great idea. I imagine the ripple effect was photoshopped? I don't know enough about the rules to know if this'll put your photo in danger of DQ, but regardless, I really like the idea and execution of this. The lighting is very nice. |

An elusive Troll setting up campby NodeComment: Great idea. The lighting really gives the troll a realistic feel, and the POV helps me feel that I'm a traveller accidentally discovering this scene. Nice job. |

"Rumplestiltskin" Straw into Goldby TressiderComment: A great idea, I just find the lighting to be a little too harsh. It's hard to distinguish the gold from the straw. Perhaps a little tighter shot, and a sharper focus would have helped here. |
