The Schofield Mausoleumby jfritz27Comment: Have you compared your picture with MAK's (second place) and wondered why his did better? They are both similar subjects with similar processing using similar equipment. I gave them both the same score. Put them side by side and yours looks a little softer and flatter. I'm no expert but here's my suggestion: After you've reduced the image size to DPC spec. apply Smart Sharpen which has the added effect of boosting contrast as well as sharpening. (If you already knew this kindly disregard the above) . |
