Aunty Em! Aunty Em! things seemed so clear just an image ago...
The colors are great. You've given the sky some great depth. Nice work.

The changes are well done and a good choice to go with sepia look. her eyes really catch you looking around the image. well done.

Thank you all very kindly.

Roz: wow, good call on the facial markings. for the first
shots we couldnt keep her away from the grass. she just kept trying to eat it, which would make those marks a cross of dew and grass stains (with some naturally fair skin). lol

Ann: i strongly dislike the UI of CNX. However i think it gets the best color from the nikon dslrs. The only adjustments i usually make in CNX is a dark & light control points (according to histogram, highlights, & shadows) and possibly a control point or two. so not much to know!

I'll give it a crop and repost just for curiosity, your's and mine (i didn't think of it before, thanks for the c&C).

I did a quick retouch on it and uploaded it here - you will see the retouched version, mouseover to see the original. I tried not to go too "plastic" and left some of the lines around her eyes that I think actually are a positive attribute to her appearance. A little cloning & healing on the chest, cloning over the random hairs and a little liquify/reshaping of the hair as well. If you worked on the large version, you could probably come up with something better. I don't know how you feel about retouching to this extent - if you don't care for it, consider this my own exercise. :)

Beautiful model and a good shot.

Art, how did you do the left eye? it changes the image quite a bit. also, can you elaborate on hair pp?

Well done Steve.
