Whilst Im a bit bored of all the cat photos, this one at least is a good photo, with the tail helping with the framing of the subject, and the background being a nice rich warm sleepy colour.

Its not so totally stunning that it makes up for the boring subject, though, so I'll still dock a point to make it a 7, which is alot better than the 2s and 3s Ive been giving some other cat pics.

Nice image, but youve chopped the tail. Also, try using the rule of thirds to eliminate the cluttered background and show the bark texture.

If the squrrels often use this route up the tree, and its in your back garden, try clipping some of the hedge back to make for a cleaner shot next time.
