Very interseting composition. The jagged white highlights are both interesting and offputting at the same time. They are as much the subject as the Dragonfly is and therefore compete with him.

Nicely seen. The square crop works very well here. Not sure I would have picked white for the border. I think black would have let your subject standout more.

Nice captured momemnt. The vignette is a little over the top. Perhaps a tigher zoom might have more impact as there are so many shapes and colors fighting for the viewers attention.

I like the backlighting and the DOF here. Not sure if the angle is too high above her, but something in the viewpoint seems awkward. The pose looks a little stiff as her smile is not very natural.

We have a few judges in our photo club that repeat the mantra "back of a bird" when ever a bird in flight photo with compostion similar to this is shown. The back view is just not as interesting and has less impact to the viewer than the equivalent shot with the subject facing you.

That said you caught a unique moment in space flight history and that is pretty cool.

Wow -- this ended up much lower than I would have thought (I gave it a 7). I found the repetition of the fans/wood and the extreme crop to make a very interesting and powerful image.

Wow -- that is some use of negative space. It works well but might be too mcuh. I think a square crop might work great here. It is not DPC legal but try using the clone tool to move the boat it to the lower right so it is driving into the frame rather than out of it.

I love this composition. Nice colors. Two thing to try if you did on this effort. 1, Focus on butterfly with the flower OOF or a higher DOF and get both in focus.
