I love the mood here with the muted colors and the misty background. The subject is a bit lost between the large area of green and the sky. Also I think a more action-like pose would have had more impact.

Great collection. Nice colors and composition. The setup is a little flat/static. Perhaps piling them jenga like or otherwise 3-dimensional would have had more impact. As a nit, watch your titles. That is a lot of Space and Super Hero games and not so many dungeons in sight. Perhaps "So Many Games, So Little Time" would have worked.

Very cute. I hope the grandkids helped you. The pose is a little static, perhaps a different composition with characters interreacting or playing a game would have had more impact.

Marbles

I really like the shot with the forest reflection in the marbles. The browns of the wood and trees are great the white-ish background less so. The game connection is less strong than some others as that is a strange surface to play marbles on, but as a standalone photo it is excellent.

Very cute and well done. Simple is good. Isolating the pieces on the game box (I assume) really sells the game without trying to show the whole board. As a nit the tip of the M is barely visible behind the house. Either hide it complete or have more of it showing.

Great image here. My favorite. The angle and the lighting really make the game pieces pop. Just counted the move of the car and yes - it hits Boardwalk for a huge rent payment. It is the little things that elevate this, such as the angles of the pieces and the sloppy placement of the two decks of cards.

Simple, yet super effective. The low angle really shows the power of the punch and also allows us to see the determination on his face. There is a bit of visual clutter in the scene that detracts a little. Just noticed the Mickey t-shirt - great!

Evil and disgusting - I love it! The angle and the lighting are top notch. I hear that playing Trouble for the rent money is a bad idea. My only nit is the black marks on the left bills, as it seems out of place with all the red blood.

The color is pumped up a bit as I shot in raw and that is always a bit muted. Adding in contrast to bring out the feather details also darkens the color as well. Keep in mind the body is mostly pink and the neck is the deeper red. This close-up pose really has a lot of the neck, hence the red dominates. Traditional full body poses highlight the pink, which is why they are commonly called pink flamingos. I was real lucky and got great sunshine on them. Later in the day as I shot other animals it was a dull gray overcast.

Thanks. Something I shall keep in mind for future shots. I tend to be pretty conservative on my nature shot as my home photo club has really strict rules on their "nature" category and I am in the mindset by default.
