rapeseed fieldsby TiberiusComment: Wonderful layers of color and texture here. I can feel the warmth. The challenge topic is not as strong here as many of the other entries. |

Urkby AzrifelComment: Originally posted by Azrifel: Originally posted by glad2badad: Is this a for real street? Feels like a historical site. Very colorful for sure. A bit soft all around. |
It is a historical street rebuild in an open air museum in Enkhuizen. It is soft because I cannot get good sharpening to work on small images. It is sharp as a knife out of the camera and auto-resized on facebook. Just not when I edit them myself. |
It is a little hard to tell but I think the focus point is on the buildings behind the lady (as the roof tiles look sharp). Couple that with an aperture of f5.6 and your subject and all the foreground elements would be out of focus. f16 or f22 would have helped keep the whole scene sharp - bumping your iso to keep a shutter speed assuming you were handholding. |

Poplar Dynamicsby JulietNNComment: I like the contrast of the blue sky and the brown/green of the foreground. The sky has a diagonal streak to it that looks a little odd to me. |

Man & Natureby HUETHComment: Wow - what a border. It is definitely the first thing you notice. Something this wide works great on a wall, but I think on my screen just gives me a smaller image to look at.
I like all the colors and shapes on the stickers. It is a nice contrast to the greens and the trees. Lighting is perhaps a but harsh, with the shadow on the sign. |

Keysby crikComment: One of my top picks. I really like them all on a flat place against the white. Often this would be a static composition but the variety of keys gives it some impact. As a nit I wish all the keys were exactly parallels to each other. |

Old and newby hajekaComment: One of my top picks. The different textures and colors from old and new is really cool. |

Redheads by NeatComment: I love the composition here. Cutting the car off works, which often is not the case. All the textures and shapes and patterns are really fun to explore. It might be a tad too busy, but still works very well. |

High Street in a Country Townby jomariComment: I really like the framing of this image with the fence, roof, and posts framing you image on 3 sides. Perhaps crop in from the top 10-20% to emphasize this even more. |

The walkby mitalapoComment: Wow - what a story here with all the dogs. Perhaps a tighter crop would have given more impact to the people/dogs as the scene is rather busy with trees/bushes/shadows/etc. |
