Sand and Shellby CJinCAComment: Cool contrast with the dark and light. Nice to see a different take that all the light brown sand. Wider DOF may have been more suitable to show off more of the foreground sand. Parts of the shell seem to be soft, although that could just be the lighting. |

Small Obstacleby pointandshootComment: Cool photo. Kind of like an inspirational poster. The "sand" part of the photo seems not very strong. |

Ty's sand timerby tenyearoldtyComment: With a single subject like this the tilt must be intentional, but it only detracts from the photo for me. The pink specks also seem out of place. |

Timeby senor_kasperComment: Nice colors. Nice justopostition between the hourglass and the sunset both telling time. Somehow the bottle is not straight vertically even though the supports appear to be. |

leave only footprintsby StagoleeComment: Cool idea. I like how the hills and sky are placed. Somehow the perpective and scale do not work for me, as it seems that the water is very far away, but the footsteps show that it is close by. |

Harsh Environmentby PaulComment: I like the highlighted treatment. It brings out the rawness of nature, etc. Crop might be a bit tight too the skull. |

...so slow...the sands of time...by DeelyoComment: Interesting composition. Perhaps a bit much going on with patterns of the quilt and the dog's crazy hairdo. Not sure I connect the hourglass to the dog. Is the dog old? |

Low Tide Auditorby hahn23Comment: Nice wave action making patterns in the water. Love the leaf. The duck looks a bit static, perhaps if his eye was less shadowed. |

C U @ The Sand Barby muur88Comment: A lot going on here. Perhaps too much. I like the diagonal and horizontal lines as they work well. The runners are a bit tight to the crop. Two on the people appear to be looking at you and one is hiding. It makes for an odd mix of people. |
