I owe all my success to this wonderful site. Back when I wrote the "my photography sucks" thread, it really did suck, but people here were so helpful and gave me some great comments on how to improve. So I just applied myself to the task of getting better and it's has paid off. But I never would have gotten there without the wonderful feedback and support from the people here on DPC. Thanks to you all.

Appears to be one of the hospital bendy straws. Very nice color, and very sharp. I really like this one.

I like this photo but it makes me feel very uneasy whenever I look at it. It's rare that photo does that and I keep coming back to it to try to figure out why. It has an insect quality to it (in fact it might even be an insect) and I think it's that alien look at an insect that freaks me out.
