I like the lighting but there are a few distractions imho. I think to show a view it would be better without the corner of the red shed or whatever it is blocking a third of the photo. I also want to see more on the left to see what the dog is looking at and a larger dof wouldn't hurt either. That said, the focus on the dog is good.

The colours are nice and the composition is nice but I find the image just a little too soft. I guess that's what you are going for to give a dreamy soft focus feel to this but it doesn't quite work for me.

I'm trying to be constructive but it's hard. I'm not American and don't live in America and am bored of have the American election thrust down my throat from all media, I was glad it was finally over! Anyway, I'll stop ranting! It's got a good sense of atmosphere with the people in front, colours are vibrant and the focus is good but there is little "wow" factor to the photo, maybe if you are American then there would be more.

I've got no idea what I am looking at! The wake of a boat maybe, clouds perhaps ... but then what is the red?! I find I quite like it but I'm not sure why!
