Stretchby peeteComment: Great vibe through the processing. The subject is bang-on, but the composition is a tad too tight to the bottom and it is oversharpened. Lighting is clear but it lacks aatmosphere - although this would be a fairly good stock photo for a subject like 'bending over backwards'.
As an artistic photo, I'm not sure what I think of it really. Its main appeal for me is the tones and definition but the pose doesn't sit well aesthetically, despite the brilliant athlete involved. I wouldn't hang it myself, but it's probably a ribboner though. |

I? Why I?by TiberiusComment: Strong image (and it's not a letter formed only by cropping). I didn't get the crucifixion reference though. Grain doesn't bother me either.
Edit: The haloing could be prevented by sharpening your shot in Lab colour mode on the 'Lightness' channel only. Message edited by author 2005-04-13 05:37:27. |
