Musical Memoriesby ShannonComment: NIce quirky angle for the subject. Perhaps could have improved it by getting closer and cropping parts of the case (filling the frame). that way we could see some more detail of this cute little record player. |

Don't touch that dial....by medic391Comment: Angle is uninspiring, lighting is flat and you have a reflection of yourself in the screen. Ggetting in closer would help - showing some detail and texture of this old box. Image is soft and unclear too. It's a shame really because your subject has lots of potential. |

"Remember When ....?"by tfarrell23Comment: Ground-breaking game so I can see why you have a soft spot for it. Makes a change form all the 'cobweb' shots too! |

The Other 30 Second Solutionby C-FoxComment: Well, that's my preferred option for the solution! Image lacks atmosphere and is a bit bland. Some directional lighting would help and straightening the image to vertical would be good. |

1957 Chevrolet Bel Airby GordonComment: Nice detail. Smooth lighting and tones. Border is distracting and too close to the subject of interest. The detail shows some lovely workmanship. |

Vinylby marloweComment: I'd like to have seen a more interesting view of this - perhaps really low with some detail in the grooves and stylus? Distracting shine off the left of the disc. Nice composition and focus, but not much going on to hold the attention for long. |

Mummy's bedby FandangoComment: Oooh that looks comfy - I'm sure I've slept in that bed before. :D
I remember those days too - but my Dad gets fed up if I do it now coz there's not much room now. Great shot with lovely DOF. Could have straightened it up a bit though! |

Ole' De Sotoby briphotoComment: Rubbish. Doesn't meet the challenge brief. [1]
Just kidding! Very nice tones, angle and lighting although the kerb is slightly distracting. Good use of mono. |

The West Pierby Apollo2077Comment: I share your nostalgia with this. I would have thought that an off-centre arrangement may have suited this better, showing more of the pier's length. The image is very soft too and may have benefited from some treatment with USM and levels. |
