Fly on Cactus by JackoComment: An odd shot this! It works and would score higher if the blurred dark area was absent. Nice detail on the stricken fly and it's well lit. |

Sunnyby GraciousComment: Dynamic colour and composition. Just a bit too soft really. |

Sapphire and Diamondsby kncoughlinComment: I'm sorry to say that this doesn't interest me at all. It has much to do with a lack of focus but also to do with a rather plain subject shot in an unengaging way.
For this to work I think you really need to get a lot closer to obscure some context since there is much in your shot that is unnecessary. The earring may look more unusual and generate more intrigue if it was shot from any other angle than the one that we would normally view it from, for instance from under the ear looking up or over the ear looking down onto a naked shoulder, creating a sensual vibe and some visual confusion.
Ultimately your duotone effect and lens flare seem like substitutes for a good compsition. |

African Violetby MWittComment: Lovely colour and detail although cropping could have been tighter to maximise focus. |

Merrimentby ellamayComment: Extremely cute concept! Top marks for that - although it seems a little ironic that many of the little 'mouths' are downturned and looking a tad miserable! ;)
Excellent detail and rich colour too - very festive. |

Stingby magnusComment: Some nice detail and well lit. I'm not keen on the magenta/blue hue on the edge of the blade but it's a dynamic composition. |

Ice.jpgby eikidigiComment: This is marvellous. Really nice focus on a strange and beautiful subject. The horizon looks a little skewed clockwise. |
