Zooming and panning slightly left would have made this composition. It would have placed Big Ben off-centre in the shot brought the interesting elements closer and would have excluded the irrelevant items such as the dark object in the foreground and some of the less interesting buildings on the right.

Nice time of day and colour though, so it's still a pleasing shot.

This could have been even m ore atmospheric if you had off-centered the subjects and left open space around them to the left. Straightening the horizon would help too.

There's quite a green/blue hue to this shot so it may look more 'thought-evoking' in black and white.

Beautiful lighting and crispness in this one. I'd like to have seen a bit less tree and some more of the lake and foreground though, so cropping half way through the tree ,may have shown more context and depth of the scene.
