Yup - this is the shot I would have gone for myself! Excellent detail and very striking. It makes a refreshing change to all the STOP signs!!! ;)

The white, while being dynamic, is a bit too overexposed and the black too underexposed, which loses some of the interesting texture.

That's a mean swan in the background giving the young'un a bit of beak! A slightly faster shutter would have been good here but lighting looks like it may not have helped.

Cute duck. Composition's good too. You could do a little dodging on the duck though as the dark areas are little too dense.

Nice capture - love the subject. Colour is a little bland perhaps (always a problem with quite flat lighting like this) but you've caught the moment perfectly.

Reminds me of my own duck's arse shot!

A very beautiful natural POV. Silver birches are diminishing by the thousand due to disease so this may be an even more special shot one day. :(

And I agree, this should have rated higher - but then this site never ceases to surprise me like that. Four 2s, ten 3s ?? Crazy.

Edit: One tip though - TRY NOT TO USE CAPS AS IT FEELS LIKE I'M DEAF, OR YOU'RE A LITTLE BIT MAD!!!! ;)

My only comment is the two discs of lens flare or moisture towards the top right which are probably worth retouching.
