To be honest - this just desreves to win hands down. It's brilliant. What a capture - crisp, clear and well composed even given the difficulty of the snap. Very well done. Did you have a starburst filter? Very odd to see them here. :)

Great pose and she's very pretty. Good natural, soft light and a nice composition.

This has almost certainly been cleaned with NeatImage though and it shows because it's killed off way too much natural textures on the skin - although the background is a little noisy. If over used this can look like an effect rather than for clean up.

Good lighting and technically a sound shot although the composition is a little awkward on the eye. I do feel that this is quite a shallow portrait though, in that you look very conscious of the fact you're taking a picture of yourself, but are pretending this is candid.

If it was not so obvious that your arm was holding the camera (or seeming to be) this would work much better, since your expression suggests some off-screen interaction, yet you're clicking the shutter and the two things don't fit.

What a lovely expression - she's a cute little Cabbage Patch Doll! Eyes are so clear. Great composition, light and focus - although it does look like some selective blurring is at work, but it's sensitively done. Deserves to do well.

This really needs directional lighting. The flash is harsh and has created tight shadowing. He's obviously a nice guy though so a warmer background would probably suit his character more. That shirt is deafening!

Obviously a strong image and a well taken shot. Composition suits the theme well with good environment. Should do well - probably in the ribbons. Hostage is quite well dressed though, so a bit more dishevellment would be a nice touch.

Flattering angle, beautiful face, great composition. Yellow cast is a bit overpowering (I understand the blonde emphasis) but overall a lovely image. This little angel reminds me of a shot by Louison (the same perhaps??!). :)

Nice work. An attractive, unusual looking person shot in a confrontational kind of way. One hand may have been better offset somewhere else to counter the symmetry slightly and take some emhasis away from them as they are the brightest elements in the shot.

Looks like NeatImage has been at work here since this is super-clean - but it's very strong.
