Undefeetedby BrennanOBComment: Well, there we are - a pair of feet. But what a lovely shot. And it almost makes them look - well, attractive - which, when sifting through the shots in this challenge is actually quite remarkable.
The white portion to the right of the scene is very distracting though and I would have removed it. |

Falling by heidaComment: Your familiar style will doubtless prejudice many voters' truly objective opinion on this one. : )
As usual, it's technically very good, but the title is what the shot relies on for it's character, more so than the actual subjects. If I remove the title and look at this as an image only, I see an attractive pic (thanks mainly to your post-processing) but some average composition and not particularly evocative subjects. The feet are in the air but they do look so posed that it's difficult to see past it.
I would prefer to have seen an action shot of the same idea but with some sand flying up from the movement with the feet frozen in the frame, perhaps panned round to the side and viewed almost as four feet together. This may also have worked with water, although the sand on the soles adds its most interesting feature as it stands. |

After a long hike, this is a treatby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: This has a tangible effect - knowing how that must feel. Nice 'imperfection' in this with some lovely fluid motion and muted tones. The movement in the trousers is a bit distracting but overall a different, pleasing shot. |

Claiming her spotby maylilyComment: Ooooh - that looks really comfortable. Cats always make me feel relaxed just to look at. And why do we enjoy stroking the darn things - it's all take, take, take. : )
This is a good cat shot and I hope you don't get marked down for it per se. The skewed angle assists the quirky nature of cats and significantly assists this composition. Now give me some of those cute little pink paw pads to squeeze!!... |

Maybe too lateby DufusComment: This really needed some speed indicated through blur or some sand kicked up to communicate your idea fully. The selection is a useful touch, DOF could have been a touch longer and contrast stronger. Nicely composed otherwise. |

It's Freezing! by EddyGComment: While there's some nice stopped motion here the shot itself does not hold my attention for very long. I also think your freeze had to be absolute - no motion blur at all. your title does not particulalry echo the image for me since it doesn't look very cold, but more like a soothing bath. Nicely composed. |

Casual Corpseby dsa157Comment: Nice concept, good title and neat execution. Detail on tag is a nice touch and of course the twist of the legs crossed is a master stroke.
My only negatives are: 1. the feet look a little out of shape (sorry) but then I thought - why not? Why the hell does everything have to be just perfect on this site? It could be anyone under there - so that's now a positive! 2. The overxposure is just a little to 'styleless' if you forgive the expression. I'd like to have seen either a more clinical feel to the feet also, or a bit more depth (through some sensitive burning) to darker areas with some higher contrast.
For me though it's one of my favourites and I hope it does well (though not too well!!).

Smell My Feetby crabappl3Comment: Now call me an irritation here - but your title belittles this shot. It's great - and it doesn't need a comedy caption - well maybe soomething like "Now where's my E45 cracked heel cream?" or "Pew - smells like I've stepped in something.".
Well captured and I'll be interested to hear what you did to get so close here. I assume he's not wild but you never know! |

Bones #1by dsidwellComment: Very detailed, high definition image David - love the technique. Very appropriate for the subject matter too. |
