I love this shot - it's tones, lighting and texture are just great. It's not typical travel guide stuff which is why I find this so refreshing. I can imagine it featuring in a more select publication extolling the pros and cons of remote or unusual locations, perhaps something like a Rough Guide or even a Backpacker's Bible, etc.

One of my top picks - but I'm just slightly bugged that it's skewed slightly clockwise.

I'm sure I'm not the first to mention the overprocessing that's gone on here. Sadly it has all but destroyed your shot. I suspect however that there wasn't much to destroy in the first instance though which may explain why you've done it.

the colours are extremely washed out in the heavily blurred grass but oddly, the cows look OK. As for being featured in a travel guide I would doubt that this would sell the destination to many. Sorry.

This shot holds little appeal for me I'm afraid. The subjects have their backs turned on the viewer which immediately puts up a barrier. This coupled with the real barrier and limited view of the subject that the people seem interested in renders the scene quite pointless and bland. The colour in the distance is also quite 'dirty'. It is well composed (if a little skewed) but that off-screen action that seems to be more interesting than the scene we're looking at is quite frustrating! :)

Your colours are a bit crazed here (and that's not the only thing). : )

Good composition and if you're into weird outback killing renactments then this is the place to come I imagine!

There's an almost 3D rendered feel to this. Very unusual subject, very nicely dhot. I imagine this would appeal to many in a travel guide. Lighting is beautiful.

The sky here is openly overprocessed, so I won't say that it looks obvious! There's a touch of Six Feet Under about this with the solitary tree. Nicely observed - although as a travel guide image it loses points just a bit due to its lack of obvious attraction beyond an ordinary landscape - albeit made special in Photoshop.

Lovely clear view at a nice time of day. The blue/green colour cast is actually very nice set off with the orange lighting. Nice job (and I love Yorkshire so I'm a bit biased I admit).

I'd have expected to have seen to many shots of the Canyon, but this is really nice - with the Colorado picked out nicely and plenty of detail. Well chosen portion to shoot - and that must have been a great trip.

Nice approach and I can definitely see this in a guide. The extra interest of the birds really helps this and as such has lifted it from the ordinary to special status. Your treatment is almost excessive but not quite! I love this.

Wonderful choice of viewpoint and very dynamic subject - I'd love to walk down here. It strikes me that you may have focused a little too close though. I sense a bit of sharpness rescue towards the back of the focal range and you may have been better off focusing about 2/3 of the way into the distance which would have given you an almost infinite focal length (particulalry if were shooting at around f6-8). Border is a bit heavy, but I love it.
