In the Fangs of Shadowby librodoComment: Beautiful light, tone and treatment. I sense that there should be sadness here which is inferred by the title rather than visible in the image (despite the child's distant expression). That doesn't detract from an excellent and clearly competent shot. |

hole 12, par 4by willemComment: I think this is the first time I've seen a golf course in IR. I'm not a major fan of the effect personally unless it has real purpose which, because of the surreality of it, tends to be good for supernatural vibes or social statements, like pollution shots etc. I do quite like it when it's mixed with full colour though.
You've done it well and your shot is well composed. |

Essenceby ShiiizzzamComment: Yummy shoulder and neckline. This kind of shot leaves one sensing aroma and touch thanks to what you have left out of the frame. Your model looks gorgeous and I bet she smells nice too. : )
A provocative shot. My only comment is that the lighting is a touch flat and could have been more atmospheric. |

Granite Totemsby rcrawfordComment: Nice, clear shot of interesting subjects. However, for me this is too much like a snapshot , in that there is nothing more brought to the shot other than presenting what is before you. I'd like to have seen some foreground interest such as some smaller formations that look like these or an animal - or perhaps just some well defined texture that gives me more of a feel for the terrain. |

Rifle Shooted Water Balloon. by eojedaaComment: Well to be honest - I haven't seen anything to beat this just yet. I really like the shapes that are a consequence of this which I wouldn't otherwise have seen if you didn't have such a fast shutter! This image demonstrates a purpose for the challenge so it gets my top vote so far. |

stoppin' the poppin'by UNCLEBROComment: This deserves top marks just for the image that it shows. I've always wanted to experiment with popping balloons and this makes me want to do it more. It's an amazing capture so I suppose you breathed smoke into the balloon (which is what I wanted to try too).
It does however suffer from very poor lighting - killer flash that has removed any artistic vibe in the shot - and dull subject matter (no offence to your female subject). Given the odd nature of the motion stoppage it doesn't do it justice to depict it in a the form of a snapshot. |
