The Grand Canalby tazzaComment: I love Venice and this is a great representation - and definitley the right time of day. I ate down there to the right just one month ago! You may want to see some of the pics I took in my Venice gallery.
Ps. it looks only very slightly skewed anticlockwise |

Rainbowby ElemmennopeComment: Quite stunnning scene. Any idea why the sky is darker on the outside? I've never known what atmospheric conditions cause it. |

US 50by pitsamanComment: Lovely, crisp view, if a touch too much sky. Excellent DOF. |

happy easterby messerschmittComment: Excellent DOF Wil and a great viewpoint.
Just one small thing - the horizon looks a little 'joined' on the left. |

Fishing on Fanning Islandby MrAkamaiComment: I like the photo. By way of improvement I would suggest a more offset split of the horizon, ie, more sky. I'd also experiment with levels and monochrome gradient map (set to overlay blend mode, at varying opacities). This may add some more contrasty and desturated colour, adding gravitas and making the scene a little more stark. This, coupled with an increase in saturation would look great I think.
if you're interested I could show you what I mean? |

Winterscape 2.jpgby artvetComment: This is a strong image. I would simply unskew the verticals on th trees and definitely not remove or straighten the leaning tree. This adds an interesting natural quirk which separates the shot from A N Other landscape. Sky is overcooked a tad so once this is addressed (including over dodged areas) and cleaned up, you'll have a great photo.
Cheers
