One Week to Wedding...by 777STANComment: Hi from the Critique Club,

This is a lovely family portrait shot. There are a couple of things here, the shirts are a little blown out and the faces are dark. Your sharpness is spot on here, your DOF is great and the colours are really good.
Next time , maybe use a darker shirt and a reflector to bring out the faces a little more.
this is a lovely family shot that I am sure is treasured |

Swim in the pools within the oceans.by MitzenfaukerComment: Hi from the Critique Club,

wow what a hotel this is, that has to be the largest pool I have ever seen!
This shot has a slight horizon tilt going on and in the right hand top corner you will see it is also pretty grey. Some selective colours could have brought out some more of the greens that you have in the sea. Your sharpeness is good, POV and DOF is good.
well done

The wedding ringby ak2007Comment: Hi from the Critique Club,

first impression is that is very dark. If it werent for your title then I would not know what this was. A little spotlight on the rings would have been good. IT does look sharp and in focus , just a little hard to judge. Good use of rule of thirds |

this is a really nice shot, i like how all the colours compliment each other. The one thing that I think is hurting this shot is the crop, crop out the brown table to give it more of a flow versus two parts of a shot. having the second earring at an angle towards the center would have given this more drama. Aldo a little sharper on the main focus earring would have been good too.
Nice shot! |

Naughty pony!by snafflesComment: Hi from the C Club
I am sitting here giggling!!!
She looks like she is a ton of fun, really I am giggling when I see this shot, the look in her eyes is priceless.
This is one of those photos that is hard to critique as there is not a lot I can suggest. Your sharpness is great, your colours are brilliant, your POV is hilarious, DOF is spot on.
I love it, well done! |

There is not a lot to say about this shot, it is a really nice one.
The border is definitely taking away from the shot though as this is brighter than anything else in the shot. You have lovely details in the flower and the bokeh is very creamy and buttery making a warm glow.
There is nothing wrong with this shot at all and I can see it hanging in a nursery!

Monkeyby gauravComment: Hi from the Critique Club,

This a very good shot, one of your best.
I think what is hurting this shot is the darkness of the monkey and the lack of sharpness on the monkey. And to be honest, that is all that is hurting this shot. .
IT is an interesting one, the background is amazing, the capture of the monkey is unique.
Do this more often!!!!!!!!!

This is a wonderfully clever shot. This could be so many different things. When I first looked at it I thought it was a the sea, a jut of land and then sky.
I think that there is some things that you could do in post processing. Unsharp mask just to bring out some details. Shadow and highlight, again for details. Then it is time to play around with the hue and saturations, selective colours. A lot of details could be brought out with just a few minor tweaks.
The more I look and study this shot the more I like it , well done

I do not think that this is going to be a very in depth comment as there is not a lot to comment on.
Gorgeous!!!!!!!!
I gave this an 8 in voting and here are the reasons why it was not a 10. The size of the shot is fairly small, remember you can go up to 640 on one side in basic. And that was the only reason
This is a wonderful shot, your processing is fantastic.
Well done |
