a happy soul.by lineyComment: Not very sharp... did this have a run in USM? Some strange textures in the hair, not sure what caused this. His right eye needs a catchlight and although the smile is nice, I'd have tried a few more shots to get a slightly better expression in his eyes. |

Safe and Warm with Motherby SammieComment: Cardinal sin of animal photography... subject too similar in colour and texture to background. Nice collection of subjects though. |

after the gameby muckpondComment: Nice shot, dof works well. Composition seems unimaginative though. Perhaps if the boy was on the right edge of the frame and a bit higher? |

Quiescent Crescentby OlyuziComment: Lovely shot, nice shades of blue. Composition is not bad, but not clear enough to make a shot with real impact. |

Atmosphereby BrianRComment: A promising setting for a mood challenge, but the table is wonky, colour balance is too yellow and composition is unbalanced. Too much glare off the plate. |

Freedomby PixelstateComment: Not sure this evokes a mood for me... this is quite hard to achieve in an urban setting IMO. Shutter speed is a tad too slow, I'd have liked the cyclist sharper. Not bad at this speed though. Composition a little too cluttered. |

Completely disagree. It's supposed to look like that. What would the highlight/shadow tool do anyway? The highlights are all deliberately burnt out. There's no info there to recover. That tool is way overused anyway.
Edit... oh, I get it... I must have just left a similar comment on one of your photos.
Another edit... OMG, I was right, how remarkably petty. Message edited by author 2005-05-09 04:22:30. |

Meditationby DiscraftComment: Very nice lighting. Good model. Not sure about the composition and the square crop. |

A Pleasing Shotby Zap228Comment: Not sure what mood you're trying to create here. Wonky horizon doesn't work. Looks too much like a snapshot with a zoom blur added in PS. |

Comfortable and relaxedby NodeComment: Nice shot with a title that really doesn't fit. Foliage really makes this shot. Good shutter speed. Well composed. |
