Laredoby bobdaveantComment: Singer on the left looks a bit wooden... good gig photography is about capturing those special moments when the performers enter the zone and really emote and perform. This isn't one of those moments. |

Soul Rockby bclementsComment: Overexposed. Although you've caught the bass player at a nice moment, the keyboard player looks anything but inspired. The composition is just too cluttered and there's no chemistry between the two performers. |

Feeling Itby carlomuscatComment: Nice composition and moment (although his head is just a tad too near the edge of the frame for my liking). Just a shame everything is OOF. |

No more mr. Nice Guyby NazgulComment: OMG he's looking old. That chin is the stuff of nightmares. Although you've included the whole cane, as a result his face is on the right half of the frame looking to the right. That almost never works compositionally. |

Tori Amos - Summer of Sinby trangkComment: Oh, so almost. The microphone stuck in the side of her head, like an unhappy audience member just had enough and couldn't take any more, stabbing her in the head lets this down badly. White balance seems a bit off. |

Playin' the blues.by fourstardaydreemComment: If this was live music and I was in the audience, I would be bothered by this obtrusive photographer. Your light source has overexposed the performer's head, turning this into a snapshot. White balance seems off... everything is too blue. Keyboard doesn't look deliberately wonky. |

For jazz loversby rhipsterComment: With a sax player, the hands are almost as important as the face... the OOF hand bothers me as does the fact that the other hand is missing altogether. Nice light though. |

Focused Baseby jimmiedComment: Why use this terrible gratuitous filter? BTW, it's spelt 'Bass'. Shadows behind the performer make it look a bit like a snapshot. |

Kevin Debrow of Quiet Riotby LegatoMuzicComment: Ouch, why cut his left hand fingers off? It's usually not a good thing when the eyes are near the edge of the frame looking out of it... it leads the viewer's eye out of the shot. |
