Sax player from 2AZZ1by inspir8tionComment: Very strange crop, eyes are way to near the edge of the frame and if you're going to include the bell, include all of it! Sun is too harsh for an effective shot. Nice expression though. |

Cowboy Crushby chimeraComment: Interesting pose and expression from foreground singer, spoilt by the fact that the guitarist's face/head has been accidentally obscured. Nothing is sharp enough. Looks like it needs a curves adjustment to deepen the shadows. |

Reilly McBagpipeby Art RoflmaoComment: Interesting shot, triangular white shape behind foreground bagpipist leads the eye to this performer. Totally ruined by beater of the background drummer obsuring her eye/face. Not a fan of the blur which looks like it's been added in PP. |

Hear the Song, Feel the Musicby lafleurbComment: Not a fan of this almost but not quite centred composition. Hard to tell what the music was like from this shot, I don't get much of a sense of being there, other than being far away from the action. It looks rather dull. |

As I Saw Itby scaloComment: Love his eyes. Shame about the light shirts in the background which distract the eye from the subject. The knuckle is just a tad too near the edge of the frame on the right hand side. Nice triangular composition though. |

High Noteby BigMoComment: I wouldn't choose to draw too much attention to these particular fingernails. Focus isn't particularly sharp and the dof isn't shallow enough to make this composition work. Too much glare/reflection off the guitar body. I don't get much of a sense of this being 'live', I think more context is needed. |

Fiddlerby mannjuditComment: Instead of arty grainy, this looks accidentally grainy. Burnt out patches on face don't help. The bow goes straight across one of the eyes which is usually a composition no-no. |

in a world of her ownby hayleesComment: OOF. Centred compositions don't normally work for me, it strikes me as unimaginative here. Doesn't really meet the spirit of a live music challenge IMO. Background is burnt out. |
