Great idea, but there is just too much going on here to know what to focus on. To make a stronger picture, I think you should have composed the shot focusing on 1 element here. Maybe crop out the entire left half of the shot? I don't think sepia toning works on this picture. Stark black and white would have worked better for me. 6

I want to like this, but just can't see the irony. I suspect you might get blasted by both people who score down cat pics AND people like me who can't see the irony. It's a shame the kitten isn't more in focus, and the stray branch in the lower right hand corner is distracting. 3

Indeed ironic, shame the photo wasn't lit better. Nasty amounts of noise in the background, along with a strong red/orange colour cast. Did you set the white balance? Avoidable glare from thermometer and pill packet. Not a strong composition. 3
