The only thing i can point out on this shot is there is a spot of yellow on the bristles of the blue toothbrush. Otherwise it is great.

Love the detail in both shots. The only thing to make it better would have to have the dog on a chair, but as I type this I realize just how dangerous that would have been. Hopefully he got the message anyway. Also, the expression on the dogs face is perfect.

Tigger looks like a dear in the headlights. I hear an "oh dear" somewhere in the background. The focus is great, but the direct flash is a little harsh. Having the light come from the side would have done two things, given more interesting shadows it their faces, and eliminated the strong shadow on the background. A way that I have done that in the past is setting the camera up on a tripod, killing all the light in the room, setting a long shutter speed, and then using a flash light to light the subject any where I want it lit. Its hit or miss for the exposure, but since they aren't going anywhere it should not be a big worry. Hope that helps.

Im guessing all photos stored on this drive will automatically fit into whichever challenge is up that week...Very clever and great focus. I just hope when mine comes in the mail, it is a brand new one.

Day 1: Sunglasses/After/10mm

i love the boldness in the colors on this, but i also thing that cropping at the top of the pool like wehrmacher did adds to the image by removing background distractions. Another thing that I think could have been cool would have to had a person up in the top right corner of the pool either swimming or diving in, giving the sandals and shades an owner. Just a thought though.

I love the illusion of a wide angle macro shot this creates by using an oversize jack. The sky is great, and the texture in the rock and the jack is captured perfect. Wish I had a critique for you, but I can't come up with one.

Push One Over

The composition is nice, but there appears to have been some camera shake that makes it look out of focus. A tripod would have been good for this, which would have led to a much stronger image.

Oh No, Not Boardwalk

This shot is very dark, yet the highlights on the boot and the hotels appear to be blown out. Also, Boardwalk and the hotel should be in focus if that is meant to be the focal point. A larger dof might have helped that. Better lighting, and adjusting something in the composition would have made this better in my opinion.

The monotone I do not think works for this shot, possibly duotoning w/ black would offer better contrast. Also if the composition was not dead center and focus was a little sharper it might have bee stronger.
