bright light in the upper right draws my eye - to what? the center leaf is too centered, not interesting. other objects in focus are not pleasing. light on leaf is bad. leaf is not in focus and not interesting as soft focus. looking at this makes my eyes feel dusty!!! 4

the OOF grass in front of the center blade is distracting and ruins this for me. There is no blade in focus to see well. nice light, but there is nothing for my eyes to rest on. 4

this composition has al the brightness in the gravel. i see the cactus almost by accident. the gravel seems overexposed. composition is very static. doesn't work for me. 4

needs better light and more DOF, pistle is out of focus. leaves on right are distracting, a square crop would work well for this flower and would get rid of leaves on the right. backlight is good in that it reveals detail in the flower, but light coming on the face would be good too, even a flashlight would help light up the pistle. 4
