What Dreams May Comeby ladyhawk22Comment: Beautiful colors. The composition doesn't work for me. Would have liked to see all three flowers in the frame. As it is, the left hand side appears to be cut off with too much space on the right. A square crop would work with this photo, though. Just crop off the right side and some of the bottom. |

A Symbol of Loveby LtHousLadyComment: The rose is captured perfectly with pleasing color tones. The background, however, needed more light...for this light on white challenge. The shadows are very gray looking and grainy. |

Just a weedby kimberComment: Kind of boring, sorry, but very nicely captured. White background is really white. You've done much better than the majority.
Just because I said it was boring, doesn't mean I rated it low. 8 Message edited by author 2005-11-02 11:09:17. |

Minimalist Morningby chucksinncComment: Nice minimalistic capture with great clarity and detail. I like the shadow included. I'm seeing lots of sensor dust and the overall cast is an odd color, not white. |

Regal on Rusticby SandyPComment: A beauty. The crop doesn't work for me. I can see this improved as a portrait crop. You'd need a little more room around the ears, though. I really like the wood grain background on the left side. The right side with the scratches draws the eye away from your wonderful subject. While I'm nit picking, the nut and bolt is also distracting. Your subject is well worth a reshoot. |

Loathsome Putrescenceby JPRComment: Outstanding work! I agree with gf. This could be on display in a museum.
Would appreciate some details on set up and exposure. Message edited by author 2005-10-30 19:45:55. |
