Week 10by KenComment: Not a heck of a lot of editing, but the good ones don't really need much, do they? |

On the phoneby MelethiaComment: Your b/w work is getting better and better. I'll be giving a try to this idea of using Topaz before the b/w conversion. |

Moonlight-Hunt.jpgby jomariComment: That's what I like about the side challenges. No editing rules! Anything goes and it results in some great stuff. Have another fave! |

Erie Canal Lock 11by NeilComment: That "quick edit" brought out some nice color and detail. I've got a topeak handlebar bag that can hold my Powershot S5, or Rebel with the kit lens. Pretty good for $40.

Lava Rock Sunriseby cginoComment: Definitely worth the effort. I've done similar with the selective layering at times. Haven't come close to this sort of wow effect though. Message edited by author 2009-04-26 02:11:07. |

SSOC_1503BWTopaz.jpgby ikopanasComment: I like the cropping, though I may have left it just a little wider. I kind of like the way the original is framed by the black fade. Makes a natural vignette. I kind of prefer the strong tones of the original shot, to be truthful. If it were a challenge, I would probably give this a 5 and a slightly cropped original (with the blue sign removed) a 6. You know what opinions are like, however!
Either way, I like the look of the light reflecting on the wet street. It makes the shot. Message edited by author 2009-04-25 18:58:13. |

Stream viewby MelethiaComment: That's why cycling and photography go well together. It gets you to some vantage points you might not get to, or would overlook traveling by car. Nice treatment. Just a little zing to it. Did you use Topaz on this one? Message edited by author 2009-04-24 18:34:02. |

Now that's and outtakeby LutchenkoComment: Do you and Connor keep a careful eye on each other to see if the other one has identified a killer shot? Might have been funny to use this as an entry. Low scoring, but funny. |
