Vinesby MelethiaComment: Nice conversion to b/w. As I experiment with it, I'm finding that Topaz if often just the thing to give a b/w some zing. I'm saving any real discussion of it for the SC, though. |

Don't copy meby yjoshiComment: Wayyyyy too much JPEG compression is taking away most of the detail in what would otherwise be an interesting view with nice light. Your file size is only 64k and you could have used up to 200k for this challenge. Compression kills detail. Always use the least compression you can get away with and still come in under challenge limits. |

Alone I standby cjavierComment: Nice perspective, a bit of unpleasant noise visible in the clouds that could have been dealt with under advanced editing rules. |

Simplicityby irish_princess87Comment: Need a little bump up in the visual impact dept. I think, but overall pretty good composition and choice of tree. I would photograph something like this. |

Toughby bjoernComment: Cool view. Amazing how trees can cling to almost anything. Seems a little grainy somehow. Not sure what. |

.....Devil Yellow by dougi555Comment: You could have gotten a lower perspective if the ground wasn't in the way. I can appreciate rolling around on the ground to get these perspectives! |

Yellowby Elzbells47Comment: Pretty good depth of field for so close to such a small flower. Good but not a killer shot, though. Some selective editing tricks could help to pull some detail from the highlights and shadows. Keep in mind, however, that I'm not a huge fan of flower shots. I do love bugs and critters, however. |
