I like the appearance of the yellow steps, but it comes a little short of having strong impact on me. Maybe its the overall composition, but I'm not sure.

I like the blur, and the slight mystery of who this is and what her story may be.

Well, if this fits the challenge, than any photograph fits. Cute woman and a sexy pose, however.

Didn't come up for me in voting, but I think I would have given it a 5. I think you did well with the HDR. It's got a lot of good detail and the colors are strong but not overdone. I think where this falls down is in the composition. It does not quite lead my eye to a central subject. My eye wants to go up to the windows, as that is where the lines are leading me, but the flowers and interesting ironwork beneath them are drawing me down there. The end result is my eye wanders around the image a bit. To my perception, it's not to too different from your first entry in some ways.

The angle and colors are similar, and in the earlier shot, my eyes were taken away from the subject by the background that was in competition with it.

Voting has gotten harsher of late. Your average on this is a good score in my book. This did not come up for me in voting but I think I would have probably given it a 7. At least a 6. I agree that you tossed just the right amount of Topaz at it. It picked up some wonderful detail of the lightplay on the tree trunk without making it look totally unrealistic.

Would be nice to hear feedback from some of the low voters occasionally.

A lot of nice detail in this. Could use a little jazzing up in PP perhaps. I tossed it into Topaz adjust just to see, and it brought out some nice detail in all that wood.
