The Crowby vawendyComment: As I said already, I think this was the more creative choice, and I like it. Nice use of negative space. There are some dark pixelated areas showing in the upper corners, but it is probably not visible on many monitors. (No vote, comment only) |

Poison Ivy (poisonivy)by whiterookComment: I had a case of it about a year ago after pulling some weeds. No fun at all. The photo is fairly flat and plain, I'm afraid. I did play with it a bit, and found that some adjustments (curves, Topaz adjust, sharpening) gave it a bit more visual pop. |

Spring of Life and autumn of Deathby vikingasComment: A very neat looking tree and it contrasts nicely with the somber graveyard. Seems cropped just a touch too tight for my preference. It's just not all coming together for me though, and I have to give it a neutral 5. |

The Living Among The Deadby dtremainComment: Comes off a bit flat to me. Some curves, contrast and maybe a little saturation would probably bump this up a notch or two, though. that tree in the middle of the frame has some great detail and color that could be brought out, and I see some wonderful grunigness in the large memorial in front of it. |
