Retiredby anferhComment: Hopefully this will do better than my own overripe banana shot. |

The Potatoes Were Worried.by nibblesComment: Great idea, but snapshotty execution, I'm afraid. There is a lack of clarity to this photo and I think most of it is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. (Some jpeg artifacts can also be seen in the eyes) Your file size of only 44k indicates a highly compressed image. Compression kills detail. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one) |

Burdensby PikkelComment: I see the general population didn't agree with my 8. IMO, this is a much stronger image than many other entries, including my own. |

Praying for Reliefby SiouxComment: Underrated, I think this is a great portrayal of a man under stress. The lighting is good, the image is sharp. It tells a story. Sorry you didn't get any comments during the challenge. I tend to concentrate my comments on the low votes I give, and mine was one of the 7's. That's my excuse, anyway. |

Cityby LutchenkoComment: Ouch! Watcha doing down here Will? Maybe a bit of an overprocessed look for DPC, but still good. Freestudies are funny. I am still seeing stuff I like, even into the low 5's. Looks like you've earned one of these as a consolation prize:

"Jane's Addiction," and Where it's Led Herby Blue MoonComment: I failed to check back on this after the challenge, but came back to it now after the second shot in the freestudy. I think the first time around I did not realize she was in a trashcan. What a story. Thanks for the detailed notes explaining this. |
