Hi Tammy. I saved this one for last, because I was skipping the vote, but I wanted to do a 100% comment. So, here goes. I think the processing here was overdone quite a bit. It looks like it was just cranked up with Topaz. (Please see my Flickr stream for some experiments of mine that did not work) I also know this is probably your first effort with HDR techniques. I would love to see the out of the camera shot, maybe even the RAW, and perhaps see what else we can do with it. If you are still talking to me after this comment.

I see some major effort here, but I feel the shot is seriously overdone. The water has crisp details, but the bird's body is soft looking. It seems out of place. There is also a heavily visible tilt to this that is easy to fix.

Setting over the Pacific

Another day ends on the planet Dumak. Once the beautiful, but dangerous sun is gone from the sky, then the inhabitants come out of the water to forage for lichens and aquatic grasses. Unfortunately, they will find none in this locale, as the harsh radioactive summer has scorched the rocks barren. It is a hard life.

This scene, tells me about a drifter, exploring the countryside on his/her motorcycle. Getting into a new adventure each week, with every new town visited. Sounds like a standard formula TV series, doesn't it?
