Standing Tallby gg3rdComment: At first glance this looks nice, but after the first 2 seconds I see tons of ugly compression artifacts. Your file size of 149k is just under the challenge limit, so I think at some time during working on this, you may have saved it with an excessive amount of compression, or done repeated saves and opens in JPG format. A good workflow is to save your file in an uncompressed format, either TIFF or your image editor's native format, until you are ready to post the final product. That way you don't lose any detail. |

Reflections of my worldby romilComment: Not really grabbing me with this, I'm afraid. Composition comes off to me a little awkward and the reflections are not having any visual impact for me. |

Full of Historyby ValdoComment: Wonderful detail here, and the person strolling through this gives just the right touch. |

thats where it all beginsby snehasmritiComment: A bit soft and the details are not coming across clearly. I do not see an y compression artifacts, however your file size of only 70k suggests there may be some JPEG compression taking away a bit of clarity here. Compression kills detail. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one) |

My baby in my bed...by tinkie2010Comment: An awfully cute kid. Looks like she is trying to appear innocent. Harsh flash and a slight color cast are a problem for this shot. I try to avoid forward facing on-camera flash at all costs. I'll bet this would have worked out nicely with the use of existing room light. (You would certainly need to use a tripod, however.) |

Penmanshipby sourav_85Comment: I am not sure what this represents about your corner of the world, but this topic is so wide open to personal interpretation, that on this one I must assume there is a connection I am not understanding. |

Midnight Traffic Rushby coder68Comment: Well, congratulations on your first ribbon. Ok, it's the brown, but there is some (debatable) value to it, believe it or not. (My own brownie is one of my personal faves.) Nowhere to go but up, right? |
