I feel obligated to explain a lowball vote, though I am surely not the first to leave these comments.
-pic is way too small, you should use the allowed pixel value on at least one side.
-Blurry and flat looking, as if it was taken with a phone-cam. Some common adjustments could help it a bit. (Such as levels, curves, contrast, sharpening)
-I don't see any face paint. Unless it is her makeup.
-At a filesize of less than 8k, there is surely a ton of JPEG compression taking away from the clarity of the image. Always use the least compression you can and still sneak in under the filesize limits.

Umm, that's looks like a hand, not a face. I just re-read the challenge description to see if it could be interpreted to include this, but alas, it does not. I'm sure I am far from the first person to leave such a comment, but I feel obligated to explain my low votes. If it met the challenge, it would have probably gotten a 5 or 6 from me.

Looks good. The red lips and turquoise headwrap work nicely together. Seems a bit more clear and detailed than the version you previously showed me. I suspect Flickr did the usual oversharpening that it does when it resizes images.(No vote, comment only)
