Sara Reflectingby WaltConklinComment: A bit grainy, which actually works for this image, but there is also what appears to be some slight blur (perhaps camera shake from a low shutter speed?). Also some visible compression artifacts, the result of compressing to a 41k file size, when you could have used up to 300k. Compression kills detail. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. |

What R U doing?by sk8t969Comment: For injecting a little humor into the challenge:
(Perhaps a slight actual shoehorn as well, since it was clearly posed)

Boy crashes toy helicopter into Aunt Jane's head. by bvyComment: Hey, I gave it a high vote in spite of the anti-composition! As I said, it's a great catch of a moment and that's what candid is about. Besides, you know I love the quirky stuff. I also intended to hand out shoehorns for humor before rollover, but forgot. This was going to get one even before I knew it was yours.

Red Eye Tetraby freakin_hilariousComment: I really like the treatment here. Kind of semi-creepy looking. Is this a negative image? Usually I don't care for them, but it really suited this shot. |

Mallardby SteveJComment: One of the better duck shots I've seen. Getting low in the grass was just the thing. If you got cold and wet, the shot was worth it. |
