That's Meby GreycieBooComment: Congrats on your first ribbon! Ok, it's the brown, but there is some arguable merit in achieving it. (I'm proud of mine.) |

He Was My Brotherby PennyStreetComment: Getting mistaken for Cutout has got to make this a successful entry for you, regardless of the score! Originally I'd given this a 5, but bumped it to an 8 after it grew on me. |

Drop Off the Key, Leeby dtremainComment: Got a 6 from me. Unfortunately, you didn't get any comments critiquing this, so it's hard to know what kept it down. White balance perhaps? The image has a slight color cast to it and so the woodtones and the flowers may not be standing out as they could. |

Point & shootby Yo_SpiffComment: Originally posted by MelonMusketeer: If this is spontaneous, you were ready, and had killer timing to capture it as it happened. |
Yes, I just happened to be looking that way when someone asked her where someone/something was, and I grabbed the spontaneous moment as she pointed thataway. |

How Can You Live In The Northeastby MarikaComment: I like the way the shallow dof creates a slight blur around the edges and the high key appearance is done well. Bumping this one up from my original vote. |

He Was My Brotherby PennyStreetComment: Coming back to this one. Does not look photographic in nature dur to the heavy PP, and I can't really tell what the figures are. (Cutouts, perhaps?) However, I can easily see something like this being used on an album cover, so I feel it suits the topic more than a lot of other entries. Bumping it up a couple of notches. |

Monet's Bluebirdby vawendyComment: You're right. You will get killed for this one, and despite being a bluebird, nobody would recognize it as yours. Some nice bokeh going on, however. |

Tormentby bvyComment: I'm pleased to see I got a chance to leave a stupid comment and a high vote on one of yours. Looks like we both had fun with shadows this month. Message edited by author 2010-01-08 00:30:23. |
