fork in hellby bcenuComment: Cool looking. Also makes me think that a melting plastic fork would look pretty interesting as well. |

Metal workerby hemantComment: I had a similar shot of my own that I had considered for this challenge, but bringing out the details from the darkness created more noise than I wanted to have in a challenge entry. Yours is nice and clear. Good job on this. |

Tungsten windsby olbolComment: Coming off really fuzzy, soft and uninteresting, I'm afraid. Out of curiosity, I popped this into PaintShop Pro, and I found some quick levels and saturation adjustments really helped to give this some more visual impact. |

"Soldiering"by ladpupmoeComment: I don't understand what this has to do with the military. The photo certainly suits the challenge however. |

Boilin' Hot by schugirlComment: Basically, I find this to be a good and interesting shot, but it needs a little noise reduction and maybe it is cropped just a little too close for my preference, particularly the top of his hat being lopped off. |

Hotnessby CoreyFitzComment: I can see some minor compression artifacts around the front of her face and in the details of the surfboard. Your file size of only 56k is also an indicator of a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing most of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit.
There is also that tilted horizon which would have been easy to fix. |
