synchronousby NiallOTuamaComment: I don't expect this will do well with the collective, but I find something quite appealing about it. |

Stay In Your Lane!by GeneralEComment: Looked like waves coming in on a beach, then I noticed what would be a lilliputian city if that were the case. High vote for making me stop and look longer. |

The picture was from the Miami Car Show years ago when I had a point and shoot camera. I just wanted to get something in the contest, trying to just get my feet wet,,being a newbie around here.
Thanks again.

You're welcome. I've found a fast wideangle lens to be useful for these kind of public shows of things like cars and aircraft. Allows me to get close to block out the crowds, but still get the entire vehicle in. Now I'm thinking of other wideangle shots I could have entered of my own! |

pIGGybAcKby jomariComment: I gave this an 8. Sorry to see it didn't place higher, but abstract approaches tend to be less appreciated when not in an abstract specific challenge. Of course if the were in an abstract challenge, you'd get low voted because it was recognizable. Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't. |

Jeepersby crsteeleComment: Cropped a bit tight. Looks like this was at a car show, which are always a challenge due to crowds. I was at SEMA last year and despite having tons of photos of cool cars, between crowds and midday sun, I didn't find any of the shots to be challenge material. |

Entranceby GinaRothfelsComment: Nice, though for me this treatment might have worked better with something a bit more retro. Personal preference is all that is. I do like the wideangle perspective. That work nicely for this. |

Vintage Luxuryby patchesComment: I like the shot overall, cool old car and an appropriate treatment. However, there is some weirdness going on with some of the sharp contrasting edges of the car. Top of the hood, side windows, wheel well hump, various trim edges. |
