I like it, though the tonemapping brought out a lot of noise grain in the sky, and a bit of haloing around the buildings. One thing I can do with PaintShop Pro when I do noise reduction, is to apply the noise reduction to the blue and cyan color ranges only. That maintains detail in the other areas, but smooths out the grainy sky. I would assume Photoshop can probably do a similar color channel application of NR, if that is what you are using.

I found them at the dollar store. I believe both figures are from the movie "Astro Boy". The spacecraft is actually a rather unusual Stanley flashlight.

I didn't vote this challenge, but now I wish I had, so that I could give this the high vote it deserves! Reminds me a bit of one of my own last hour entries that was also a piece of inspired idiocy. Unlike myself, you missed the brown by a wide margin.

This is pretty cool. It would get creamed in a challenge for the noise grain, but you've captured something that usually takes special triggers to get the timing just right. I'm assuming this was by using trial and error to get the timing right?
