Morning Cloudsby tehbenComment: Awesome, but perhaps a little too dramatic for me. The high contrast is probably taking away some fine detail and my eye is trying to find that detail. I'm sure this nitpick will be in the minority. On the other hand, it is very Ansel-Adamsy. (Can I use that name as an adjective?) |

Sim Cityby ErikVComment: A very clean and neat looking image. Love the detail of the blimp in the sky. |

Point Peron Landscapeby Tap10Comment: Wonderful scene, but I would have loved to see the additional detail that using the 800 pixels allowed would have done for it. Aside from that, it is an very interesting subject and great use of b/w tones. |

The Pondby tamatamaComment: A pleasant scene, though it looks like you had some overly bright highlights and dark shadows to contend with. This was a tough challenge for basic editing rules. |

Tallulah Gorge State Park, Georgiaby tjmuellerComment: Nice scene, though Some of the details get lost in it due to being similar tones. I had the same issue with a lot of my own potential entries. The combination of b/w plus basic rules made this one a challenge indeed. |

As day turns to nightby RuneberComment: To be honest, this sort of scene is getting to be so common in challenges, that it no longer has strong impact for me and I have a hard time evaluating it objectively. I can't give it a poor vote because it is well done, but it's not having enough impact for me to give it a vote at the top of the scale. Sorry. |

Springtime in the Park with Georgeby PennyStreetComment: Central Park? My only nitpick might be that the buildings are mostly hidden behind the trees. However, that is an aspect of the scene that just is what it is. I would be curious to see if you have any outtakes shot from that outcropping of rocks. |

Idyllic Landscapeby dragonwarlord98Comment: Good use of tones. Everything stands out nicely in this shot, without any details becoming lost. Not too bright, but not dark either. Not a "WOW" shot, but certainly worthy of a vote on the positive side. |
