Do I interpret the challenge description narrowly, because there is not boat in the scene? Or do I just accept the relationship to boating? It's pretty darn cool looking. I'd like to know more about it. Time for a visit to Wikipedia. I think it's worth a vote on the positive side as a creative take on the topic.

I like this except for one nitpick. I find the rowboat to be WAY too high in the frame and close to the edge. Otherwise, I really like the details and color treatment.

Decent shot, though I have a couple of nitpicks that may fall in the "personal preference" category, and are not really flaws:

-I find the crop a tad too tight at the top. A little extra space around the tip of the steeple seems needed to me.

- The green of the trees seems oversaturated. This is usually caused by too much yellow in the green. I would have taken down the yellow channel a bit to undo some of that dayglo coloration of the foliage.

One of my higher votes in this challenge. It does have an extreme cartoony look, but it really works for this scene. I'm surprised that it did not come in over a 6. Mass appeal is a fickle thing, isn't it?
