So, is anyone recognizing this as a Phoenix? As I previously suggested, if you had gone back with some lighter fluid and a match, you would have gotten an awesome Phoenix from this. Hope you at least got a nice roast chicken dinner out of it. (No vote, snarky comment only.)

When did a 1979 sci-fi movie become mythology? I do really like the alien though. I wonder how the Borg would fare against it? I expect they would have trouble assimilating something with acid for blood.

I love the double meaning here. I should really give this a high vote to reward you for an out of the box shoehorn, but nobody enters such an image seeking high votes, and it would only serve to keep you from your noble goal. I'll make my contribution to the obvious cause.
