Hi, Cory. This place is starting to look familiar. Amazing how a long exposure makes night look like day. If not for the title and the stars in the sky, I wold have thought this to be late afternoon. How the heck does this body of water avoid drying up in this part of the country?

Some good potential here, but there appears to be a bit of a tilt to this that would have been an easy fix. Horizon is possibly a little too centered in the vertical direction for my preferences.

An interesting scene of everyday life in this place. Seems a bit low resolution and slightly pixelated, however. I'm wondering if it might be a severe crop of a much larger image.

Like it. Looks almost like it was shot with a wideangle lens. I suppose the choice of box you make these out of determines the focal length. I just noticed the pattern on the building. I am wondering if this was built as a twin to the Republic center tower here in Dallas?


Added: Did some research, and they are siblings. Same architectural firm. The Pittsburgh tower was built in '53 and the Dallas one in '54.

Cool effect. The only problem with shots like this is that it is difficult to get both the mirror bits and the reflection to both be in focus. I had the same issue with this entry of mine, though in my case, I chose to have the reflection OOF.

Ancestors of Grog travel to this land many sun cycles ago in boats like this. Journey was hard. Cold was wind, hard were seats, and youngling in second row play Hannah-Montana songs for whole journey.
