Actually, it is NOT my knee, if that's what you were suggesting. I do think it is a simulated scar on on a Halloween figure, however, so your guesses were very close.

Thanks, I was afraid it wasn't abstract enough and would be too easy to figure out, but you were close. It is a sail on a boat, processed to make the crinkles stand out.

Yes, it's an impression in the ground, but I don't recall how big it was, and don't know what formed it. Most likely I was standing over it, so it's probably about a foot or so across.

Like a scene from a science fiction or fantasy movie, where the entry to some ancient structure cracks open, begging the heroes to enter and discover it's forgotten and dangerous mysteries.
