Really cool braiding! I'm always impressed with the time and effort put into these. Biggest issue for me with this shot, however, is that my eye goes straight to the out of focus woman in the upper left.

Some haloing around the trees bothers me, but most probably won't be as nitpicky. That sky looks like is on fire! Certainly conveys the topic. I'm interested to see the out of the camera shot before b/w conversion. I expect this to do well.

Love seeing the details of something people often overlook in their daily rush. Nice use of dramatic tilt. I don't know if everybody will see the connection to the topic in this, however. I'll be interested to see how this finishes.

I thought this may have been yours, but was not sure. I gave it a 5. The light looks rather flat, as if it were lit straight on from the camera direction. Something from the side may have brought out some of the nice details in those bottles and flowers. Your problem with the colors was definitely fixed with the white balance change to auto. That is looking much better.
